SV Microwave, a division of Amphenol, is looking for an HR Generalist who wants to be close to the business, visible to employees, and trusted by managers. In this role, you will support a growing 300+ employee manufacturing site in West Palm Beach, serving as a steady HR presence across hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day employee support.

SV Microwave is a precision electronics manufacturer supporting the U.S. defense, aerospace, and commercial markets. We are looking for someone who can build trust, follow through, and help employees and managers navigate the moments that matter.

Responsibilities
People & Culture
  • Serve as a visible, approachable first point of contact for employee questions about policy, payroll, and benefits—resolving issues promptly and with care
  • Champion our values of collaboration, transparency, ownership, and operational excellence in every employee interaction
  • Support our bilingual workforce in both English and Spanish, ensuring all employees have equitable access to HR resources
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollments, life event changes, and related questions
  • Support resolution of employee concerns and workplace conflicts with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach
Talent & Onboarding
  • Partner with department managers to understand hiring needs and assist in identifying and recruiting qualified candidates
  • Deliver a consistent, responsive candidate experience—keeping candidates informed at every stage of the process
  • Manage the new hire orientation process to ensure every employee starts with a strong foundation, the right information, and a welcoming experience
  • Collaborate with Marketing to strengthen SV’s employer brand on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and at school career fairs
  • Coordinate temporary labor needs for the West Palm Beach facility
Compliance & Operations
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee records through periodic audits, ensuring all required documentation is collected and filed appropriately
  • Respond to employment verification requests and other informational inquiries in a timely manner
  • Stay current on federal and state employment law and ensure HR practices remain compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in department projects such as benefit open enrollment, annual performance reviews, and job classification initiatives—offering suggestions and helping drive continuous improvement
  • Leverage technology and creative problem-solving to streamline processes and improve the employee experience
  • Support additional HR functions and projects as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (degree in progress considered)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

  • Experience with Dayforce a plus
